The Milestone Integration Platform Software Development Kit (MIP SDK) Training provides our partners with the knowledge and skills to develop applications and plug-ins for XProtect® Corporate, XProtect® Enterprise, XProtect® Professional and XProtect® Express.

Course description 

 

  • This course uses lectures and hands-on exercises to teach participants how to develop video-enabled .NET applications using the MIP SDK

 

  • Duration is two full working days from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

 

  • Maximum number of students is 10

 

 

Target audience

 

IT professionals, IT consultants, product managers and developers

 

 

Prerequisites


As the primary focus of the course is .NET applications, all participants must know how to develop in .NET using C#

 

 

Course content

 

Create component integrations in stand-alone applications and learn how to:

 

  • Get system information

 

  • Get live feed and play back recorded video

 

  • Integrate pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) control

 

Create protocol integrations and learn how to:

 

  • Connect

 

  • Get systems status

 

  • Get events

 

Create plug-in integrations in XProtect® applications and learn how to create:

 

  • Admin plug-ins

 

  • Background plug-ins

 

  • Client view items, image viewer overlays and side panel plug-ins

 

  • Client view layouts

 

  • Active HTML pages and XProtect® Smart Client scripts

 

 

Technical equipment
